Sitting meditation
Our weekly meditation practice is held on Sundays at Yoga Within located at 9014 75th Street NW from 5:00pm to 6:15pm.  Our current schedule can be found on our website.


5 Day Residential Meditation Retreat with Anne Mahoney
Theme: Dukkha: Our Greatest Teacher

Retreat Dates: February 9th to 13th, 2018

Dukkha (unsatisfactoriness, stress and suffering) is a pivotal component of the Four Noble Truths and a frequently misunderstood concept in the Buddhist teachings. This retreat will give participants the opportunity to explore various aspects of their own dukkha; discover how to change their relationship with their dukkha and learn why the Buddha referred to dukkha as our greatest teacher.

Location: Mount ST-Francis Retreat Centre, Cochrane, Alberta
Cost: $ 489 (meals and private room included) plus * Dana

This retreat also includes a week-end only retreat option:

Friday Feb. 9TH 10 AM to Sunday Feb 11th 1pm (lunch included)
Cost: $265. (meals and private room included) plus *Dana

Weekend Non-Residential Meditation Retreat with Anne Mahoney
Theme: Compassion for Self and Other
Retreat Dates: April 20th to 22nd, 2018

Compassion, the second of the four Brahma Viharas, is a heartfelt response to suffering – our own and that of others – involving both empathy and the desire for all beings to be free from suffering. Compassion allows us to meet suffering without without fear, anxiety, or worry and to hold the pain gently, with love and understanding.
